First Shoot in the NEW STUDIO!

I announced some pretty amazing news on Facebook a couple of weeks ago… I’m super thrilled it’s been well received and I feel really great about where JNSP is heading.

First of all, I’m super happy to be back home and so close to my family, friends and clients. I always felt like a fish out of water in Lafayette, Indiana. I can’t tell you how many times people from Indy would message me and ask what my rates were only to find out I was an hour away. I always tried my best to make accommodations… but that’s neither here nor there BECAUSE I’M BACK!

..and not only am I back… …but I HAVE A STUDIO RIGHT IN THE HEART OF INDIANAPOLIS!

Clients who wish to book a studio session can easily access it from the main interstates: I70, 65 and 465. I’m thrilled to welcome people from Carmel, Southport, Greenwood, Center Grove, Avon, Plainfield, Brownsburg and more… gahh!! I could just keep going an going. The studio is easy to access for everyone.

I have some temporary pricing up for studio sessions and if you’re interested in getting your photos done at a discount - in the studio - then this would be a very wise time to do so. The studio prices listed will increase sooner than later.

Anywhoo…

I took the girls into the studio to get a grasp on the light and to work on some posing. As you probably already know, my strongest work comes from unposed documentary photography but I do have a knack for emotional/purposeful posing as well… and I’m excited to exercise + develop my eye for creative portraiture.

Enjoy the first of many many more posts to come. I’m so happy to be home. <3 Jamie

Mia + Tommy + Everett

I adore Mia + Tommy's growing family so very much.  I have been lucky enough to photograph Mia since her Senior year of high school.  She and Tommy are high school sweethearts with a very deep connection.  Their connection is something very few of us are lucky enough to experience in our lifetimes.

A couple of years ago, Mia + Tommy gracefully modeled for a session of mine - there are photos of them all over the website.  They're just so genuine and easy to shoot.

I recently photographed a morning into the early afternoon with them and wanted to compile all of my favorites to share with y'all!

SANDY + DANIEL

sweet + sincere

I met Sandy online a couple of years ago.  We bonded over private conversations but I got to know her laugh and hugs at the first annual Dear Photographer  collective in Chicago.  I've always felt drawn to her calm and caring nature.  She has one of the kindest and most forgiving souls I've ever had the pleasure of getting to know.  She's an incredible mother as well. I feel truly fortunate to know her heart.

I was more than honored when she asked me to take photos of she and Daniel together.

I can honestly say that each and every photo I captured of these two felt more than sincere.

Jessica Max - Into the Deep

I met Jessica through a blog called Soul Focus.  I was hosting a themed week re: silhouettes. Imagine that.  Anyways.. I came across an incredible maternity photo - on the beach - the clouds told a story of their own - and the edit was spectacular.  The wind blew this soon-to-be mother's dress and the movement was just.... POWERFUL.  ...and the mind behind it was just as compelling - if not more.  When I clicked to see Jessica's work - I felt an immediate connection to the way she thinks.  Our friendship has developed over the last couple of years. For that I am so grateful.  She's the yin to my yang.

Just recently, the girls and I drove up to stay with Jessica and her kiddos for a little vacation.  She photographed the girls and I.  We got to sneak away one morning with no kids and I got the chance to photograph her as well.  On the beach!  If you know Jessica and/or her work - you know that she loves the water..  So.. without further adieu...
